Pret Woodburn
Pret learned how to jack up buildings, repair sills and confuse people with his apparel from the singular Donald Perham. Jack Sobon introduced him to frame layout, hewing and riving. Rob Tarule taught him how to read the intersection of landscape, history, and carpentry.
In his daily work, Pret excels in his three-dimensional grasp of the built object, his ability to mentor the heck out of most any crew of workers, and his intuitive comprehension of the intentions of a building's original builders. He lives in Plymouth, where he repairs old frames and occasionally builds new things, too.
